The Club have confirmed the signing of Scott Parker from West Ham.
Chelsea, Liverpool, QPR and several other sides had been linked with the England international in recent weeks.
But ahead of Wednesday night’s transfer deadline, Spurs have announced the signing of the 30-year-old former Charlton midfielder.
A club statement read: “We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with West Ham United for the permanent transfer of Scott Parker.”
Parker’s arrival at the club is likely to mean Wilson Palacios leaves White Hart Lane in the next few hours, with Stoke favourites to sign him before the transfer window closes
Excellent signing. Such a pity we couldn’t also add Gary Cahill to our ranks on deadline day.
