Benoit Assou-Ekotto misses out with a hamstring injury, while Wilson Palacios and Alan Hutton are both out with knee injuries.
Jonathan Woodgate and Ledley King have both trained this week after long standing calf and groin injuries, but are unlikely to play.
Chelsea have no injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s Barclay’s Premier League clash with Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed any concerns over the wellbeing of Michael Essien and Ramires, with the latter back in contention after missing the last three games with a hamstring problem.
Defender Alex is also fit again.
