Harry Redknapp faces a selection dilemma ahead of his sides’ trip to Molinuex to play Wolves on Sunday.
With AC Milan visiting White Hart Lane on Wednesday in the second leg of their Champions League tie, Gareth Bale may get a run to prove his fitness, with Redknapp indicating the Welsh winger will probably start on the bench.
The Spurs boss is also without Rafael van der Vaart for the game, while players like Vedran Corluka, Younes Kaboul and Tom Huddlestone remain unavailable for selection and a question mark sits over the participation of Jermain Defoe after he picked up a knock in Dubai this week.
Things are little better for Redknapp’s opposite number on Sunday. Mick McCarthy will have to battle for the points without the services of Dave Edwards, Dave Jones, Steven Mouyokolo, Ronald Zubar and Stephen Hunt.
Perhaps most damaging for Wolves’ chances will be the absence of on-loan Jamie O’Hara. O’Hara has impressed since his switch from Spurs but he is not permitted to play against his parent club.
