Any clubs interested in taking Robbie Keane have been told they will have to make a permanent offer for him.
The Republic of Ireland striker has been linked with a host of clubs as he hardly features for Spurs’ first team and a move away in the New Year has been widely touted.
Newcastle, Birmingham, Everton and West Ham have all been strongly linked with the striker but Harry Redknapp has now told them he is not available on loan and if he does leave White Hart Lane, he will have to go on a full time basis. He said:
“Robbie’s name keeps coming up, but he’s not for loan.
“If he’s going to go, he wants to leave permanently, and it will have to be a good club for him because he’s a top player still.
“He won’t just go anywhere, because he may as well stay here and fight for his place. I still think he’s got fantastic ability and enthusiasm for the game.”
