Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Michael Dawson has returned to training after recovering from the knee injury he suffered while on England duty almost three months ago.
The 27-year-old former Nottingham Forest central defender sprained the medial knee and ankle ligaments of his left leg in the victory against Bulgaria on 3 September. Redknapp confirmed:
“It’s great to have him back training.
“It’s the first time he’s been out with us (since the injury). He’s worked with the fitness coaches who’ve done a good job with him.”
