Title: Heung Min Son
Post by: Blackjack on August 27, 2015, 10:53:34 AM
If this transfer comes off this will be a great signing!, this lad is probably one of the most underrated player, and I ha never heard of him but after watching this he has won me over.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cImQcRXrJy8 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cImQcRXrJy8)

Thanks for the video clip. I've seen him on TV and enjoyed watching him on the video link. He seems a good player and a much needed talent, going by what I've seen. He also sounds better than the WBA player we've been chasing.

I think he is a better player with the exception of Berahino has premier league experience!, having said that Son looks quicker so if we get him and Njie into our first team we will finally put some well needed pace back into the team and in attacking areas where we are desperate right now. :)

Could be a quality signing and probably more value more money than an Englishman (Berahino).

I don't really know much about this player, but I was glad to get a glimpse of him through the Youtube video. Let's us hope we get him and we won't have the same trouble as we've had with certain other players.  :tickedoff:

Going by the video he is a very talent player, but as some have said, will he fit into Pochettino's mind set?

I think he will Voice and as from now its been confirmed he signed this morning, there is one hick up in thee making,he is 23 and Iv just read that by Korean law he has to do TWO years national service by the time he reaches 28!!!! so we may only get a couple of seasons out of him :o

Great, yes, he has signed. If one goes to the Spurs app they will see an interview with him. He has always wanted to play in the Premier league and with a big club, and he says spurs is a big club. I think the Spurs supporters will take to him.

Howdy,

Thanks to the clip, I've learnt a bit more about this player, Heung Min Son. He seems very talented, which is exactly what Spurs needs. We need to set the Premier league on fire and with the new influx of players we might just do it.

Good; we've finally got a striker. I wonder if there will be any more purchases before the window closes. Any suggestions?

Well, we could use a proper DM.

What I've been reading is that there are still others in the line to come to Spurs. Including the WBA striker. Even Pochettino hinted, when interviewed, that others or other might come. A two week break will hopefully (or probably) see new players embeded within the team.

Heung Min Son was introduced before the game and was given a good reception. After his appearance he was then interviewed on our Jumpo screen through an interpreter. I am looking forward to seeing him play.

He will be a good player if he can adapt to English football. Lamela was weak and quickly knocked off the ball. Let us hope he is made of stronger stuff.

Against a very poor side, completely diffent in the prem. Neither less I wish him well here, I'll think he'll be a sub next Sunday.

On top of that our league is a lot tougher. I am looking forward to see him play and then we can judge. I also agree that he will start from the bench.

I thought Son showed promised and will only get better. At least we fought for every ball, so great potential.

That was a hard game to make your debut but he showed a real attacking threat and some lovely touches, shame he left his shooting boots at home.

I am pleased that Son scored in front of us. I hope he starts against Palace on Sunday. Maybe along side Kane. That could be a very strong partnership.  :ohyeah:

I was very impressed with Son's performance on Thursday and I also hope he starts with or without Kane. Personally I think they would make a good partnership together; but I don't think it is Pochettino's cup of tea to have two up front, unless he/ they is losing near the end of the match.

Well guys they did start together and Son looks like the real deal, either foot and bags of pace, he gave Palace a torrid time and now he has taken a bit of the pressure of Kane this might help Kane get some goals.
The most impressive thing I like about Son is his desire to go forward, he likes to run at players and make runs in the box when without the ball, he could be are next Bale, he is a good finisher so I think he will end up a full time striker, good goal today against Palace and two in midweek so he is already showing why he scored 17 goals in the German league last season... brilliant scouting find this one.

I am sure that Son will grow stronger as he develops more in this league. I showed some great touches.

I'll go along with the praise. People thought he would struggle, but the opposite actually happened. I hope he plays in the next two games. The more the team plays together the better they will become.

After hearing about he was thinking of leaving the club in the summer, I'm glad poch made him stay. Always gives 100% & not a bad goalscorer, long may it continue.

Obviously Pochettino knew something we didn't. He is building a good and strong team.
