Future Premier league thoughts.
« on: May 03, 2016, 06:17:03 PM »
I was watching Newsnight and they had a specialist on football economics and he was saying that with more cash around he wouldn't be surprised if another club - outside the top 4 - could equal what Leicester have done. What I will say is that I don't think there are - now - just 4 clubs that can be considered top four quality. I think there are 6 clubs that can challenge for four spots. That is Spurs, United, City, Ars*nal, Chelsea and probably Liverpool. I also think that United can no longer guarantee a top 4 spot anymore, the same goes for Ars*nal. Next season I believe that the top four places (in no order) will be Spurs, City, Chelsea and one other. I also think that West Ham could be a surprise battler for honours.

Thoughts?
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

In addition to the potential top 4 clubs you mention +  Liverpool & West Ham, I would add Southampton if Koeman remains.

In my view this season has been a freak one and it is unlikely that Leicester will repeat this, but the likes of Chelsea, Man City, The Arse and probably Man U will come back to the top and be the ones to beat again.

If United change managers they could be a strong force next season. City will be there, along with us and Chelsea. Outsiders for me will be Liverpool and West Ham. Most of Leicester City players will have been sold off, I imagine.  :dance: :up: As for Ars*nal, who? :2funny:
