John Arne Riise wouldn't be a bad signing. I doubt Liverpool come in for any of our players but a swap would not be that bad as they've got good players has well in their team. I do also think he is the best LB/M in the premiership worth a try.

Riise huh? Sweet idea. :D He would at least partially solve our left-side problem. But the question is here, if Liverpool win the Champions League, will they be willing to part with him? IMO he's one of their better guys.

There are others has well the likes of Van Der Vaart who can also play on the left and has a striker.  But we should not sell Steed.

Jermaine Jenas will head back up north in a £10m move to Everton. James Beattie could go the other way in part exchange. (The People)

There is no way Zokora will leave WHL, that is the first i have hear about it. It also looks like berba will be stayin, THANK GOD! To be honest i think Bale is way over priced and there are equally good left backs around for less.

we need 4 BIG singnings in summer. Please no more middle of the road journey men or promising 16 year old (although necessary). We need top class palyers to break top 4 monopoly!

I think we could/should be able to get a better player the M-GP abroad for the same sort of money, as for left back if we've got this kitty i think a £10mil + maybe a player lee? for bridge would be our best bet. Whenever he plays for chelsea he looks amazing, and much better then cole atm, he can't be content playing 2nd to cole in national football let alone club football. This would certainly be better then going for Bale, unproven at premiership and possibly a transfer bid war, which wouldn't happen with bridge.

There are quite a few good LM/LW out in europe, and we should go after them before looking homewards. Perhaps from Portugal/Netherlands/Germany champions league sides. Personally i'd love to see some Argentinian/Brazilian talent brought in, my dad constantly goes on about the days of Ardilles, want to know what all the fuss was about heh!

I really don't think you'll see Riise moving, esipicially not for the low amounts being talked about here. He's a real favourate at Liverpool, for his LM-LB capabilities, talking to liverpool fans he's one of their core players

The other choice for the left wing is Martin Petrov berbas international team-mate. For the left back position I have to agree bridge would have to be our best bet and a deal worth £7 million should seal it I hope.  Other choices are Robben but I doubt that would happen.

I only mentioned Riise because he is the bext LM/LB there but doubt he would join us.

I like Jenas, he has done well this season and scored 8 goals. I don't think we should sell him and Beattie is ****. Only if we get VDV should Jenas not play.

Happy to sell him for £10m, but we don't need Beattie.  He is fat, and can't even get in Everton's team.  Remember, this was from The People - so it is almost certainly nonsense.
