       I thought we played reasonably well considering that we played for the majority of the game with 10 men, incidentally, I didn't think it deserved a Red card, definitely a penalty, no arguments there. We defended well and to Poch's credit he continued to attack, once West Ham went down to 10 men I thought we outplayed them and certainly didn't deserve to lose, and the way in which Dier took that goal showed calmness beyond his years. Yes there are still some things to be sorted out in defence but I think that with time it will happen, and the signs are looking very promising. Overall a very encouraging performance.
       Well Done Poch and the Lads, a good way to start the season.  :up: :up: :up:

Its really nice to see a spurs side playing with 10 men not lie down and give up, we defended very well and still played 3 forward, it was a good game and a welcome 3 points, lasy season we would have lost that type of match.

There was a lot of promise to take out of that match. We still fought on after being a man down. Great to see Dier score. Our next match will be against QPR and then Liverpool. And of course in-between and before we've got the two legged Europa match's. But as we go along we should grow under our new manager.

Naughton's card shouldn't of been red, great free kick from the West Ham Bloke running on the pitch.  ;)

Yes, I've got to be careful what I say, we don't want to jinx things. Hopefully West Ham will get knocked out in the earlier competitions and we go to the final. I hope that puts the omens back on our side :hide: :dance:
