Paulinho

Some dubious sources have indicated that Paulinho could be on his way to Juventus. It could be true, but most probably isn't, but what I wanted to know is your opinion on Paulinho.

I personally wouldn't be too upset if he left. His first season with Spurs was nothing more than mediocre and his World Cup - despite Brazil playing much better before the dreaded 1:7 rubbing against Germany - was also poor. I agree that he was used in a deeper role, but I remember his last season with us well and it really seems he's the new breed of Brazilian footballer, the one who can't pass, hold onto the ball or score.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

All right, he really scored 8 goals. I'll take that part back.  :hide:

It would depend who they replaced him with. Also; Levy won't let him go for less that £25 million (which is what they paid for him). So far those that  are interested have only offering £20 million. He won't go for that.

Paulinho is a good player, providing he has the right players alongside him.

If I recall most of last season we played him out of position as a defensive mid which is not his role.

Again I think in Paulinho we would be daft to sell at this point unless we can make a tidy sum and have a quality replacement lined up or identified within the existing squad, lets face it our midfield is swamped.
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Personally I think Paulinho is a quality player, up until he got injured by that animal Charlie Adam, he was really starting to show why we bought him. IMO I am sure we will start to see him shine this season. I think it would be foolish to sell him just yet!!! :nods: :nods:

We seem to be talking about selling players all the time. Paulinho is a good  but  not great, but could much better. So based on that, I think he should stay unless someone comes with a few good names as replacements.

Actually I think you will find they paid 17 mill for him. Still about double what he's worth.

You are correct. After I wrote it I realised my mistake. It was Soldado that bought for £25 million.
