« on: November 26, 2011, 05:41:23 PM »
I think we definately be playing in the Champions League next season after finishing 3rd this season.
I think Man C will be champs, and I can see us pushing ManUre all the way for second all season just to miss out.
Next season - Premier League Champions???? C.O.Y.S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we can keep Parker, King and Adebayor fit then we look good for 3rd. If we lose 2 of those for any length of time probably be doing well to finish 5th.

Well, there is nothing like a bit of optimism is there? You may try and say you are being realistic, but on our current form and the way we are playing ending up 5th would mean a dramatic drop in form and results. Yes, we may not be able to keep it up but you are assuming that the other teams around will improve rather than stay as they are or get worse. Newcastle may not have the squad to maintain their current run, Ars* are still hit and miss at the moment, Chelski are still finding their tactics. Liverpool are also hit and miss at present. If we win our game in hand we go above Man U, yes that is right above Man U, this would be unheard of 1, 2, 3....25years!

It may be the hardest season to get into the Champions League, with the number of teams capable of reaching it, rather than the normal top 4. But we also have the best team we have had in many many years. We may not be guaranteed top 4 but we should believe we can do it. Otherwise, what is the point of supporting them, if you are not going to show any support?!!!

Like Dimexi has said if we win our game in hand then we are 2nd, that's 2nd above Man Ure, Woolwich Wanderers, Chelski and the Scousers. We are currently the second best team in the form league behind Citeh and on a 10 game unbeaten run including wins against Woolwich Wanderers and The Scousers.

Our Next 9 League games are

Bolton (H)
Stoke City (A)
Sunderland (H)
Chelski (H)
Norwich (A)
Swansea (A)
West Brom (H)
Everton (H)
Wolves (H)

These games will take us up to an away game against Citeh, If we are still in the picture and within a few points of the top then who knows.

Personally and I've said it already I think we are going to be very close this season and with a bit of luck who knows, yesterday we went away to West brom without 2 of the biggest names in the Premiership let alone in the Spurs side and won. Maybe I'm getting carried away but I've supported Spurs for 40 years plus and I cannot remember a side as good as the current one even the early 80's side and the 87 side are being eclipsed, I heard that this is our best start since 60-61 and we all know what happened then !!!!

3rd or 4th.

After watching Citeh and the Scousers yesterday.............. Champions.

I think Citeh are on the brink of a massive implosion, with a bit of luck!!!!!!

I think Gentlemen it is about time to start believing and chasing the dream !!!!

Got to aim high and shoot for your dreams, probably won't come off and I'd be over the moon with 3rd but lets set the bar high !!!!!

I think we're looking good for 3rd, but after City's draw yesterday I can't help thinking that we might do more than that....

I would like to think 4th place is realistic, given the fact Spurs are playing well and Scott Parker is making the difference, thats why King is playing more games because of the protection Parker gives him. Fitness is the key, at WBA Saturday the team came over minus Modric and Van de Vart and in the first half Spurs just held there own 2nd half was a different game, my point being I think Spurs are in a much better place now and are getting those important away points time will tell. So 4th place for me!!!!!!!!!

Yes I heard or read somewhere that the people that have nothing better to do than compile statistics about such things, have discovered that Ledley is only covering half the distance he used to in matches since the arrival of Parker.
