Transfer deadline day
« on: August 30, 2011, 11:12:04 AM »
So, the deadline day is mercilessly approaching. As we've left it very late again, I don't think we can get any star players but I can see us snatching one or two EPL-proven players which isn't a bad thing when you think of it. Also it is probably not wise to ship half of the team out and bring new faces in, especially as the season has already started.

I think the ones leaving will be:

Bentley
dos Santos
Palacios

The ones arriving:

Parker
another striker (maybe Bellamy)
another centre-half (maybe Cahill)

So, what are your expectations?

Just hoping to see Cahill in the team, one of my favourite players!!!But I think tha we need a very good DM,especially good in the Def part of the game, something like Palacios in a better edition......Whats going on with Modric? Is there any chance of leaving with the last bid from Chelsea?

Jenas - Needs to go, does nothing for us anymore
Bentley - As Above
Dos Santos - As Abov
Crouch - Will stop us playing that annoying long diagonal ball from back to front that he will lose 85% of the time

Bellamy
Rossi
Parker

We may be getting Macheda on loan, is the latest rumour flying about. As usual believe it when you see it this really is the height of the silly season now, and anything could be true just as anything can be total bo**ocks.

Rossi? Dare to dream, Ugs. That would be pretty cool.

I don't think Cahill will leave Bolton, but I really think something big is in the works. They may not pull it off, though. We'll probably find out what they ALMOST accomplished tommorow afternoon.

They're talking about us trying to sign Kaka on BBC. No idea where that came from. I think he's a little bit out of our wage structure.
