we are hitting some good form of late, with 1 loss in our last 5.

Bremen are on terrible form, with 0 with in their last 5 with only 1 draw.

i'm expecting a big win

when recent results get taken as form.... and when recent form points inexorably to 1 firm conclusion....

its usually time to be surprised...

People are saying that Werder Bremen despite there terrible league form could spring a surprise and they will be well up for this because the Champions League is very important and they still have a chance to qualify like everyone in our group. We must win this and qualify through because we dont want to be going into the final game away in Holland needing a win because the pressure will be enormous.

Nothing less than a win, I hope we dont approach this in the complacent mind set we often have when we are expected to do over a team.

A win here and we are as good as through!!! We can do this and in style!

Just pretend it is Inter again

I totally understand what you are saying, because you never know.

But their form is terrible, they have only scored 2 goal in 5 games and conceded 12.

Werder Bremen 2-3 Nürnberg
Werder Bremen 0-2 Twente
Stuttgart    6-0 Werder Bremen
Werder Bremen 0-0 Eintracht Fran
Schalke 04 4-0 Werder Bremen

And at WHL i think we will just be to strong for them

If we win we are through, no maybes about it  :ohyeah: There no way we can finish below 2nd if we win and Inter win

Hope we give Bale a break and start Niko on the left even if Gareth can go. Only bring him on if the game's in doubt and give Kranjcar a run out. He's on fire for his country. Give him a chance to earn a more regular spot and make the guy happy.
He's strained his left adductor muscle it says. Whats that then ? Do we all have those or just footballers ? I wonder how mine are ? *courtesy of taimedowne*

Anyone know why VDV isnt even on th bench?

If we are complacent in the game we could wreck our CL campaign hopefully we will approach it like the inter game

Come on you spurs!
