Same old story on the injury front we have nearly a full team out!

Crouch isnt our only fit striker, I say start a run of games for RK as this is the type of situation he will thrive in or give Gio a chance.

I am alwasy nervous when we play, and this game could well and truly set the rot in, we need a result!

Metal - Keane might not be fit there saying his ankle is 50/50 chance of recovering in time for saturday. If fit im with you on starting him, games like this against weakened (i say that with caution) opposition is where he could bang a few in. Huddlestone and Bentley doubtful aswell. I still dont think Gio will get a chance, Harry just doesnt favour him at all, even in times like this with the injury saga i cant see him coming on!

My understanding is that Hudd and Gio are not fit either. Yahoo claims we have 11 out (for whatever that's worth). I wouldn't be surprised to see big Tom give it a go, though. Lineup may look like this if he doesn't play:

                  Gomes
Hutton  Gallas  Kaboul  BAE
Kranjcar Jenas Modric   Bale
                     VDV
                   Crouch

If that's the case the bench could be interesting:
Cudicini, Corluka, Bassong, Palacios, Sandro and possibly Harry Kane & Ryan Fredericks ???
All our other guys are out on loan...
He's strained his left adductor muscle it says. Whats that then ? Do we all have those or just footballers ? I wonder how mine are ? *courtesy of taimedowne*

Jenas in for THudd.... vdV out on the rightside again and cutting inside.... will leave Hutton exposed on the flank...

the Villa game all over again, unltil we balance it again at HT, and put a 'proper' right-midfielder in to protect Hutton...

will the attacking gamble pay off by HT ??

3rd times the charm for Pavlyuchenko! Thank God.

From what I've managed to see with my dodgy tinterweb connection, we look bloody good!! Everyone playing well, good closing down when we don't have posession. Looking pretty good at the back!! Please tell me we played the whole first half like that and that it wasn't only he good bits that I saw!!
