On sky sports news it said he will miss the clash against Inter Milan. I will look around round for more information on it though.

Julio Cesar and Cambaisso both out for Inter Milan. We must get a draw at least and hope for FC Twente and Werder Bremen to draw to keep our hopes alive.

If Van der Vaart is out then we will have to play a proper 442. with Crouch and Pav upfront.

It's a real shame because we were justing starting to look good with VDV in the hole, just need to get Huddlestone fit so we can get our best midfield out.

Like to see this line up on Tuesday

                         Gomes

Hutton           KIng        Kaboul      BAE

Lennon     Hudddlestone   Modric     Bale

                  Crouch          Pav

If King isn't fit then Gallas

yeah Ugsy... what a great idea..

play THudd and Modric (those 2 amazing stamina athletes who can run fast for 93mins) at CM when we have 2 very wide-midfielders who rarely know how/when to 'come inside', against Inter Milan who will play with 1 striker upfront and 5 in the midfield...

sheer genius  :2funny:

or maybe.... Jenas will play...... I think I already know the answer to that one...

If Van der Vaart has trained then swap Pav for VDV....bonus

Suddenly the world seems a brighter place, the sun in out, the birds and signing in the tree`s and Huddlestone and Van der Vaart could be fit to face Inter Milan tomorrow night.

According to reports, both players took a full part in training this morning and I assume that as long as there is no adverse reaction from their ankle and hamstring injuries, both will start and with that our chances of beating the Champions league holders will look a whole lot brighter.

Reading between the lines last week, it seemed that Hudd was close but not close enough to be fit for Saturdays trip to Old Trafford, so the chances of him making the Inter game had to be reasonable, but in the case of Van der Vaart, it looked almost certain that he would miss the game and possibly several more, but for once the footballing gods seems that they might just be with us and our superstar could line up tomorrow and I for one cannot wait...

It's a shame that we won't have Gomes in goal.

So looks like VDV and Huddlestone are going to be in contention! Great news after the early scare of both not returning but we are still very worrying at the back. Every player must stand up and be counted for tomorrow night because this is one of the biggest games White Hart Lane is going to witness in years! This is why we wanted CL football lets just hope we give it a real go and play out of our skins. Gomes being absent is another big miss and the front line hasnt been firing well lately but if the midfield can run the game and dictate the lay i have a feeling we will get result. Draw or Win i will take either but i hope we dont just roll over like the first half in Milan. Also i have plans tomorrow night so i cant even watch it! Nightmare! Im going to be on my phone checking updates though and crapping my pants and hoping we get a result. YID ARMY!!!
