Keane refuses to work for Porn Barons

despite official reports, Keane is not injured but is being induced to join West Ham in exchange for Scott Parker (he of the scary bark and less-scary bite).... the deal is wanted by both clubs as Parker has refused contract-extension and wants to join Spurs... West Ham are desperate to get Keano for his experience/leadership in steadying listing ships as well as goal-power but the deal has hit a snag...

Keane will not be employed by pornographers.

the Irishman is a a catholic and is very strict in the application of his morals, and despite mounting pressure from the Spurs hierachy, refuses to budge on the issue and will not go to West Ham.... Celtic are his preferred option but they will not bid higher than 6m, with Spurs wanting more....ultimately, a loan seems to be the only way forward and Celtic again are in pole-position (as the player will have the final say)..

a surprising twist.... but not an entirely unrefreshing one when you consider a league that allows Russian asset-strippers, an Abu Dhabi dictator-family that claims a whole country's wealth for itself, a Thai billionaire war-criminal on the run from his own country, and various shady businessmen of dubious reputation, as well as 2 internationally-recognised porn-barons to be classed as fit-and-proper persons to own a football club...

some might be inclined to compliment Keano's stance with a cheeky well-done...

Once again you contradict yourself in other posts you are desperate to offload players like Keane, but now you are on his side saying well done for refusing, What's happen to the greater good of the club etc etc etc
 
As for who owns what thats entirely up to the Premier League and the other clubs and their morals, you only reep what you sow !!!!

1) Keano leaving to make room for Fabiano - good

2) Keano being shoved out the door to a club he doesnt want to join - bad

3) club transferring Keano to a club hes willing to join - very good

As someone reported, Keane had had a huge bust-up with Joe Jordan. Come on, who would dear to fight Joe Jordan? I wouldn't... Daily Mail posted some pictures with Robbie and missus at the V Festival, he certainly did not look as if he had just left hospital.

Keano aint going to West Ham... so hopefully we won't be getting Parker either... we have THudd, Modric, Palacios and Sandra for 2 CM slots in the team (Jenas will be playing in Italy).... thats ample for competition/cover..

I think Levy should bite the bullet and sell him to Celtic... the guy should be given a golden-goodbye from Spurs for nearly a decade of good solid service and always in a professional manner and with grace and dignity..

the guy deserves to leave on good terms with the club, and hopefully come back to us in some form of ambassodorial or coaching capacity when he hangs up his boots...
