Interesting line in The Daily Mail this week, who report that AC Milan have been hanging their Italian noses over one Gareth Bale. The paper claims that Milan were considering offering Klass-Jan Huntelaar in exchange, but Spurs have said absolutely no dice to that one Bayern Munich and Barcelona were also interested.
'COLE KNOWS WHERE HE'S GOING'
Interesting stuff from Harry Redknapp here, who reckons that Joe Cole has agreed a deal to leave Chelsea.
But he won't be joining Spurs.
FABIANO INTEREST HOTS UP!
According to reports in Spain, Tottenham are readying an £18m bid and with the player about to turn 30 in November, Sevilla are ready to do business. The Brazilian star only signed a new 3-year deal with his Spanish club last season so won’t come cheap but as we’ve learnt over the past few seasons money talks and after finishing 4th Spurs have the funds to seal the deal.
20M FORLAN!?
Reports say that Tottenham have smashed their piggy bank, and raked out £20million which they will dangle in front of Atletico Madrid's collective nose. And with some luck, they will send Diego Forlan their way. That seems like an awful lot of money to spend on a 31-year-old. Spurs would apparently been willing to sell both Robbie Keane and Roman Pavlyuchenko to fund the deal, and here are some quotes from his agent, one Daniel Bolotnicoff, to round off the story: "Forlan is a player who a lot of people are interested about in the European market. Each of the seasons many clubs show interest in him. "This is not the first time that a Premier League club have wanted to try to buy him back. "At the moment, though, he is concentrating on the World Cup finals."
